During a phone call made by the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Jihad Movement Ziad Nakhaleh with Minister Miqdad, in which Nakhaleh explained the situation on the Palestinian arena and the movement’s readiness to continue the struggle against the Zionist aggression.

Nakhaleh indicated that the Syrian leadership and people’s standing by the Palestinian people’s struggle is fully supported and welcomed by the Palestinian freedom fighters who are determined to continue resisting the Israeli occupation as a way to restore the national rights of the Palestinian people.

Minister Miqdad renewed Syria’s absolute support for the struggle of the Palestinian people, noting in particular the Islamic Jihad movement’s response to this aggression and offering the martyrs on the path to achieving the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

Minister Miqdad strongly condemned the Zionist barbarism and the support that the racist Zionist entity receives from Western countries, especially from the United States of America, which has established itself as a defender of Israel’s massacres and its destruction of the infrastructure of the Palestinian people.

Al-Miqdad and Nakhaleh called on all Arab and Islamic countries and countries that defend freedom, sovereignty and independence to stand by the Palestinian people and denounce the Zionist crimes.
