Miqdad and Shamkhani discuss the latest regional and international developments

Tehran, (ST) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Faisal Miqdad, discussed yesterday with the Secretary of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council, Admiral Ali Shamkhani, bilateral relations and the latest developments in the regional and international arena.

Minister Miqdad condemned the Western and Israeli plans aimed at undermining Iran’s steadfastness. He reiterated Syria’s support for Iran and its confidence in its steadfastness and victory, just as Syria won its war on terrorism.

For his part, Shamkhani expressed his appreciation for the Syrian stand in solidarity with his country and thanked the Syrian government and the Syrian people. He condemned the Zionist attacks on Syrian territories which constitute a continuation of the entity’s brutal attacks on Palestine and Lebanon.

Shamkhani stressed that resistance and steadfastness are the only way to confront this usurping entity.
