Minster of Public Works and Housing separately receives ambassadors of Belarus and Algeria in Damascus

DAMASCUS, May.9, (ST)-The Minster of Public Works and Housing Suheil Abdulattif discussed on Tuesday with the Ambassador of Belarus in Damascus, Yuri Sluka, the ways of activating cooperation between the two sides, particularly in the field of protocols signed earlier during the meetings of the Syrian-Belarussian joint committee.

The Minister asserted during the meeting that his ministry has formed legal and technical committees to study articles related to the import of engineering vehicles for the constructional companies.

For his part, the Ambassador of Belarus expressed his country’s determination to enhance cooperation for the common interest of both countries.

In another meeting with the Algerian Ambassador in Damascus Lahsan Tahami, the minister reviewed cooperation between the two countries, describing them as “deep and strong” and praising the stance of brotherly Algeria towards the earthquake catastrophe that hit the country last February.

The Algerian ambassador, for his part, asserted the necessity of developing joint cooperation and exchanging expertise, particularly in regards to the earthquakes.
