Ministry of Transport: Flights through Aleppo Airport diverted to Damascus and Lattakia Airports due to Israeli strike  

Damascus (ST) – The General Establishment of Civil Aviation at the Ministry of Transport on Wednesday announced that, after assessing the damage caused by the Israeli aggression on Aleppo International Airport this dawn, it was found that the attack damaged the runway and some navigational equipment, which caused the airport to go out of service until repair works are completed. 

The establishment said that the flights that are supposed to land or take off through Aleppo airport have been diverted to Damascus and Lattakia airports until the completion of repair works. 

It added that its cadres, in cooperation with the companies and institutions concerned, have started restoring and repairing the damage.
