Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor seeks strengthening cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund

Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Louay Al-Munajjed discussed with the Representative of the United Nations Population Fund in Syria Muriel Mavico and the accompanying delegation fields of joint cooperation and ways to develop them, for the benefit of the targeted areas.

During the meeting, the importance of continuing communication and coordination between technical teams was emphasized to confront difficulties, unify efforts, and develop cooperation mechanisms in the programs and projects implemented by the Fund in various governorates, in a way that helps improve the services provided and contributes to the sustainable development of the targeted local communities, in accordance with priorities, needs and government policies.

Al-Munajjed stressed during the meeting the importance of the services provided by the Fund in Syria.

For her part, Mavico pointed to the role of the Ministry in facilitating the Fund’s work in Syria, and making it a success and in accelerating the delivery of services to the targeted groups.
