Ministry of Interior announces establishing an electronic window for requests to obtain a passport

The Ministry of Interior announced that a special window has been created on its website to enable citizens residing in Damascus and its countryside to register passport applications and inquire about them.

The ministry clarified in a statement today that citizens residing exclusively in the governorates of Damascus and its countryside can register through the “role reservation system to obtain a passport” window on passport applications and inquire about them from the Immigration and Passports branches in Damascus and its countryside.

The ministry indicated that the aim of establishing the window is to facilitate the procedures for obtaining passports and reduce the burdens on citizens, pointing out that this experience will be successively generalized to the rest of the immigration and passport branches in the governorates.
