Ministry of Information Condemns Targeted Attack on Journalists and Calls for Accountability

The Ministry of information stated: “We condemn the direct targeting of a group of journalists and media workers while they were  carrying out their work near the Lebanese-Syrian border.They were targeted through guided missiles fired by the Hezbollah militia, after kidnapping and killing three members of the Syrian army yesterday.”
“We affirm that this attack is a flagrant violation of international laws and norms that ensure the protection of journalists during the performance of their duties. We call on the Lebanese state to assume its responsibilities in holding the perpetrators accountable .” The Ministry concluded.
