Ministry of health receives medical aid from the Emirates Red Crescent Authority

Latakia,(ST)- A medical aid plane, provided by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, arrived at Latakia International Airport  on Wednesday , carrying six and a half tons of qualitative medical medicines.

On board the plane was a delegation from the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, headed by the Authority’s Secretary General Rashid Mubarak Al Mansouri.

The cargo was hansed over at the airport to the Ministry of Health in the presence of the Minister of Health, Dr. Hassan Al-Ghabbash, the Governor of Latakia Amer Hilal, the Secretary of the Latakia branch of the Baath party Haitham Ismail, the Emirati ambassador to Damascus Hassan Ahmad Al Shehhi, and the head of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority delegation in Syria Khalfan Al Rumaithi.

Chairman of the Governorate’s Council Tayseer Habib, the Lattakia Police Commander, Major General Abdo Karam, and the Director of Health in Latakia, Dr. Hawazen Makhlouf attended the handing over operation.
