Ministry of Health launches a special service that shows the distribution of cases of corona in Syria
On April 28, the Ministry of Health has launched a special service on its website that shows the distribution of detected cases of coronavirus by governorate, age group, gender and cause of infection, in addition to information about accredited laboratories, medical isolation centers and quarantine.
The new service showed that the registered cases of Coronavirus in Syria amounted to 43 cases, 19 of which recovered , three cases died. The cases were distributed among the governorates of Daraa, one case, Damascus 12 : 8 cases recovered and two cases died and two are under treatment, and Damascus Countryside: 30 cases, 11 cases recovered, one case died, and 18 cases are under treatment.
The infections were distributed according to gender 21 females and 22 males, and according to the age group from the age of the newborn until nine years old, two females and two males were registered.
As for the age of ten years to nineteen, two females were recorded without any cases among males while from the age of twenty to Twenty nine one female and two are male.
From the age of thirty to thirty-nine, three injuries for females and six injuries for males, while from the age of forty to forty-nine recorded three cases for females without casesfor males . As for the age of fifty to fifty-nine there are six female case and five Males.
From the age of sixty to sixty-nine, four females, six males, and the ages of seventy to seventy-nine, one female and one male.
The cases were distributed according to the cause of the infection , to one infection from the workplace, one infection by random scanning, one infection by contact with a foreign visitor, six infections people from outside the country, sixteen unknown reasons, and eighteen cases associated with a confirmed case.
The service indicated that in Syria there are five laboratories accredited by the Ministry of Health to detect cases of HIV infection distributed : two in Damascus including the Reference Laboratory of the Ministry of Health, the laboratory of the Health Directorate of Homs, the laboratory of the Tishreen University Hospital in Latakia and the laboratory of Zahi Azraq Hospital in Aleppo.
The sixteen isolation centers in the governorates for treating people infected with the virus were distributed in two centers in Daraa, Hama, Aleppo, Hasakeh, and one center in Tartous, Damascus Countryside , Deir Ezzor, Damascus, Homs, Lattakia, Quneitra, and As-Suwayda.
While the number of quarantine centers designated for those suspected of being infected and coming from outside the country reached twenty-four, three centers in each of Tartous and Damascus Countryside and Hama, and two centers in each of Damascus, Daraa, Homs, Aleppo, Lattakia and As-Suwayda and one center in each of Deir Al-Zour, Quneitraand Hasaka.
The service showed that the number of people in quarantine centers is 2817 people, 2163 of them had left , and 654 are still being watched.
