On October 29th, the Ministry of Health announced that the total number of cholera cases confirmed by the rapid test has risen to 1,097.
The infections were distributed in Aleppo 658, Deir Ezzour 194, Hasaka 75, Raqqa 48, Lattakia 46, Sweida24, Damascus 14, Hama 11, Homs 11, Daraa 5, Damascus countryside 6, Tartous 4, and Quneitra 1.
The Ministry said the total number of deaths from the disease reached 46, distributed in Aleppo 39, Al-Hasaka 4, Deir Ezzour 2, and Damascus 1.
The ministry called for the need to follow public health procedures represented in washing hands with soap and water for a period of no less than 30 seconds, and using covered and clean containers to transport and store them, and if the water is not safe, it must be boiled for at least two minutes.
