The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the attacks against Syrians in Iraq, considering these acts a violation of human rights and international law.
In a statement posted on its Telegram channel, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: “We affirm our full support for our people, and we call on the Iraqi government to hold accountable the perpetrators of these crimes and take all necessary measures to ensure the security and safety of Syrians residing in Iraq.”
In this context, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed its commitment to communicating closely with its brothers in the Iraqi government to address these violations and take swift and effective measures to prevent any further violations.
The ministry expressed its confidence in the Iraqi government’s ability to enforce the rule of law and protect all communities within its territory.
