Ministry of Education to Send 500.000 School Books, 10. 000 bags to Deir Ezzor City

Ministry of Education has prepared  500.000 school books and 10.000 school bags with copybooks and pens to send them to Deir Ezzor city to meet the requirements of the education process there particularly after the Syrian army has liberated it from ISIS terrorists.

This is what Minister of Education Hazwan al-Wez said, according to the Damascus-based al-Watan newspaper.

The paper quoted the minister as saying that 1373 schools  have been repaired in all provinces and other 104 schools are under repair.

 “The ministry is keen on the future of each Syrian child and it works on ensuring the best ways for the success of education process under the current circumstances,” al-Wez said, indicating that around 30.000 teachers benefited from curriculum development courses and 60 psychological counselors and social workers are qualified to be trainers in psychological support.

“Currently, 1200 psychological counselors and social workers are being trained inside schools,” the minister added, saying thank you to all workers in education field for being steadfast in defending the homeland.
