Ministry of Education calls on international community to help students in areas controlled by terrorist in Idlib to sit exams
The Ministry of Education called on the international community to help students who wish to sit for exams for general certificates and who are in the areas controlled by terrorist group in Idlib to leave these areas to the hosting centers and examination centers.
The Ministry of Education said in a statement that in line with the national, moral and humanitarian responsibility, the Ministry of Education calls on the international community to work to allow students in Idlib to sit for their official exams, based on the right of all students to obtain education and provide everything appropriate to be able to complete their studies.
In its statement, the ministry highlighted the great efforts made in this regard, in cooperation with the concerned authorities and international organizations, especially with regard to facilitating the crossing of students wishing to sit for their general exams in the areas controlled by armed terrorist organizations and from Lebanon. It indicated that so far, students from Idlib governorate have not been allowed to go to Hama governorate through the insured crossing to sit for their exams.
The Ministry called on all organizations, bodies and the international community to work to allow the students to cross in order to ensure their educational future and in line with the national, moral and humanitarian responsibility. It pointed out that two centers in Hama were equipped to receive them and secure all services for them, to ensure their assistance in providing comfortable exams that fulfill their future desires to build themselves and contribute to building their country and serving their communities.
