Ministry of Economy and Industry Discuss Challenges Facing the Syrian Industry

Minister of Economy and Industry Mohammad Nidal Al-Shaar discussed with several directors of institutions, companies, and factories affiliated with the ministry, as well as directors of industrial cities and provincial industry directors, the challenges facing their work and ways to overcome them.

This aims to enhance the capabilities of the national industry to meet local market needs and compete in external markets.

During the meeting held today at the ministry’s headquarters, Minister Al-Shaar emphasized the necessity of overcoming all obstacles, creating a suitable legislative environment for investment, simplifying procedures, addressing corruption and inefficiency, and managing resources optimally to improve the industrial reality in Syria.

The meeting also included a presentation of the new investment system currently being developed for industrial cities in Syria, which ensures optimal investment and benefits both industrialists and the ministry as a whole.
