Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade launches “Syrian Exporter Encyclopedia”

DAMASCUS, May.17, (ST)- The Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade launched on Tuesday the Syrian Exporter Encyclopedia, which is a platform for importers from all over the world to meet with Syrian producers. 

 

The Encyclopedia works on developing exportation, marketing Syrian exports, enabling access to international markets, and enabling the exporter to get all the necessary information, expertise and support services related to strengthening exportation in Syria.

 

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted the Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Mohammad Samer Khalil as saying that launching the encyclopedia has become a necessity and not an option in many sectors. 

 

He stressed the need to have production for exportation. 

 

The Ministers of Economy, Foreign Trade, Industry, Agriculture as well as the heads of the Chambers of Commerce and Agriculture  attended the ceremony of launching the encyclopedia at the “Sheraton” Hotel in Damascus.
