Ministries of Information, Culture Celebrated “Sham FM” Radio 7th anniversary, Syriatel honored 40 Families of Media martyrs

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ In collaboration between the Ministries of Information and Culture,”Sham FM” radio on its 7th anniversary and Syriatel honored 40 families of media martyrs, in recognition of their sacrifices for the sake of the homeland. The ceremony for this purpose was held at Dar al-Assad for Culture and Arts.

Information Minister Omran Zoubi said that the country ‘s martyrs have always been of interest to the national media, and to all the Syrian people, adding that country’s concentrated effort s on  providing care to martyrs families as a national policy is guaranteed in the Constitution and there is nothing in the world equal to their sacrifice.

For her part, the Minister of Culture, Dr. Loubana Moushaweh noted that ” Sham FM” radio has been always appealing to the hearts and minds adding that, “this generous gesture in honoring martyrs is just part of the duty of every national in this country so as Syria to remain solid and steadfast through the sacrifices of its tolerant people and brave army. “
