Minister of Tourism inaugurates the first investment project in Quneitra

QUNEITRA, Sep.13, (ST)- The Ministry of Tourism, in cooperation with the Governorate of Quneitra, has announced the investment of the Golan Tourist Park, which is located on the vicinity of the Mantara Dam in the northern countryside of the governorate.

The Minister of Tourism, Mohamed Rami Martini, said in a statement to reporters during the inauguration that the park is the first tourism investment project in the Quneitra governorate, pointing out that new buses for the “Karnak” Company have been added to the service to encourage tourism investments, especially popular ones.

For his part, the Governor of Quneitra, Moataz Abu Al-Nasr Jamran, confirmed that the governorate provided support and facilities to investors and encourages the private sector, which is a key partner along with the public one.
He indicated that a number of investment projects will be presented during the investment conference to be held during the coming period.

Hamza Suleiman, Director of Quneitra Tourism, said that the park has a charming view east of the liberated city of Quneitra, and includes two summer and winter halls that can contain more than 200 chairs, in addition to gardens, children’s games.
