Minister of Social Affairs: Lifting the sanctions restores to Syria its security and stability

The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Hind Qabawat, affirmed that the lifting of the sanctions that have burdened the Syrian people for years, forms a step towards a new dawn that restores Syria to its security, stability and dignity.

In statements reported by the Ministry’s channel on Telegram, the Minister thanked all the friendly countries that contributed and worked to help Syria.

She hoped that this right decision would constitute a positive turning point in the path of national recovery.

The Minister of Social Affairs pointed out that this achievement would not have been achieved without the steadfastness of the Syrians at home and abroad, and the concerted regional and international efforts to remove the injustice from the Syrian people.

Minster Qabawat stressed that the ministry as part of the Syrian government would continue to work tirelessly to secure a decent livelihood for every citizen, and to provide an incubating environment for development and a safe return to all those who were displaced from his homeland.
