Minister of Interior discusses with the Chargé d’Affairs of the UAE Embassy in Damascus cooperation relations

On September 18th, the Minister of Interior, Major General Muhammad al-Rahmoun, discussed with the Chargé d’Affaires of the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Damascus, Abdul Hakim al-Nuaimi, the joint cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries.

Minister Al-Rahmoun stressed the depth of the historical relations between the two countries, and the importance of developing and strengthening them in various fields.

He praised the role that the UAE played in supporting the efforts of the Syrian government with relief operations for those affected by the earthquake, through rescue teams and relief and humanitarian aid that it sent to the stricken areas, as well as the aid that it provides in various fields.

Minister Al-Rahmoun pointed out that the Ministry of Interior is keen to take care of the interests of the Emirati community in Syria and provide them with all facilities.

In turn, Al Nuaimi stressed the depth of the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples, pointing to the importance of strengthening and developing them at all levels, especially in the humanitarian field.
