Minister of Information: The dramatic epic (Because It Is My Country) documents the heroism of the army and the steadfastness of the Syrian people

Damascus (ST): The Minister of Information Imad Sara described the drama series “Because It is My Country,” which was produced by the Ministry of Information through the General Organization for Radio and Television Production, as a dramatic epic documenting the heroism of the Syrian Arab Army and the steadfastness of the people in the face of terrorism and exposing the terrorism that the country has been exposed to for ten years.

Minister Sara, in a statement to reporters, in parallel with a press conference held by the production family of the series “Because It is My Country” at the Ministry of Information building, marking the launch of its show on Syrian channels next Sunday, said that the axis supporting terrorism worked to overturn concepts and make the Syrian Arab soldier fighting for Syria and its soil “a terrorist” while depicting the mercenary who came from the far corners of the West to our country under various titles, including “the jihad”  and worked to shed innocent blood and destroy infrastructure and institutions became “a representative of humanity.”

Minister Sara pointed out that the work was managed by the great director, Najdat Ismail Anzour, who lived the war on Syria in all its details, and certainly the work will be realistic, referring to the creativity of  writer Mahmoud Abdel Karim, who presented a creative and real text with the participation of a group of Syrian drama stars.
