Minister of Information affirms the government’s full commitment to protecting all Syrian citizens

In an interview with Al-Araby TV,  the  Minister of Information Hamza Mustafa affirmed the government’s full commitment to protecting all Syrian citizens, noting that the context of the recent events in Jaramana differs from that witnessed in Ashrafieh Sahnaya.

The minister also noted serious steps being taken to integrate factions into the Ministry of Defense, acknowledging the presence of weapons circulating outside state control.

He emphasized ongoing attempts to create polarization within Syrian society, emphasizing that Syrian Druze are an integral part of the Syrian people and that the majority of their discourse is patriotic.

The minister added that the government is working to reform the General Security Service, expressing its commitment to ensure  the return of residents to the town of al-Sura al-Kubra in Sweida province
