Minister of Health: Death toll from the earthquake has reached 1,414

Damascus (ST): The Minister of Health Hassan Al-Ghbbash has announced that the death toll from the earthquake that struck Syria has so far reached 1,414, adding that about 2,357 people were injured.

In a statement to SANA news reporter, Al-Ghabbash indicated that the emergency and medical response teams worked to their utmost to reach all the victims over the course of 24 hours, pull them from the rubble, transfer the injured to hospitals and provide them with all emergency and medical services, in coordination with all concerned authorities.
