Minister of Energy Discusses Investment Opportunities with Chinese Delegation

Minister of Energy, Eng. Mohammad Al-Bashir, met today with a Chinese delegation to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and explore investment opportunities in the energy sector.

According to the Ministry’s official Telegram channel, Minister Al-Bashir emphasized the importance of cooperation with China, which is considered a global leader in technology and renewable energy.

He noted that the government is working to attract direct foreign investment, particularly in renewable energy projects and infrastructure.

For their part, the Chinese delegation expressed interest in the Syrian market and confirmed the readiness of Chinese companies to provide technical and technological support in various energy fields.
