Minister of Endowments, his Egyptian counterpart discuss danger of religious extremism 

The Minister of Awqaf, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Sattar Al-Sayyed, discussed with his Egyptian counterpart, Dr. Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, immunizing the youth against the danger of extremist and destructive ideas, especially through cyberspace and modern technologies. They also discussed the necessary steps to develop and deepen cooperation between the two ministries. 

During their meeting in Cairo, the two sides discussed strengthening cooperation between the religious institutions in Syria and Egypt and exchanging experiences, especially in the areas of developing religious discourse, Sharia (religious law) education, and interpretation of the Holy Quran. 

The two ministers also discussed the important role of the ministries of endowments in the Arab world and the necessity of cooperation and coordination among them.
