Minister of Endowments discusses with Vice President of the Russian Pyatigorsk State University the role of universities in preserving society and confronting Western cultural invasion

Minister of Endowments Dr. Mohamed Abdul Sattar Al-Sayed discussed on Monday with Russian Orientalist Professor Ibrahim Ibrahimov, Vice President of Pyatigorsk State University, enhancing cooperation between the University of Bilad Al-Sham for Sharia Sciences and Pyatigorsk state  University.

During the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of this cooperation between the two universities to enhance moral values, consolidate family traditions, as well as the role of universities in preserving society and facing the challenges imposed by the Western cultural invasion to spread immoral behaviors.

The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Sharia at Damascus University, Dr. Hassan Awad, the Director of the Russian Cultural Center, Robin Ghazanishan, and Engineer Ali Ahmed, Advisor at the Russian Cultural Center.

It is noteworthy that Professor Ibrahimov gives lectures in Syrian universities in the Arabic language on strengthening spiritual and moral values in Russia through  consolidating family traditions and their role in preserving society.
