Minister of Education Muhammad Amer Al-Mardini discussed with the United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Syria Adam Abdel Mawla
Prospects for joint cooperation between the two sides, especially in the field of supporting programs related to compensating educational losses, training teachers, and rehabilitating schools were discussed.
During the meeting held in the ministry building in Damascus, Minister Al-Mardini reviewed the efforts of the Ministry of Education to compensate for educational losses and encourage students to return to the teaching process and rehabilitate schools, pointing out the importance of coordination to develop cooperation in various educational fields.
Abdel Mawla pointed out the need to strengthen cooperation between the organization and the Ministry in the field of training and qualification, in addition to supporting the creation of appropriate conditions for students coming to take their exams away from places where armed terrorist groups are located. The Coordinator indicated the importance of supporting the students’ education process and securing their future.
