Minister of Education, Iranian Ambassador discuss ways to develop bilateral relations in the educational field

Damascus,(ST)- Dr. Muhammad Amer Al-Mardini, the Minister of Education, discussed with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus, Hussein Akbari, and the accompanying delegation, means to develop bilateral relations in the educational field, and to enhance the exchange of experiences between the two countries.

The two sides discussed cooperation in the field of preparing a memorandum to implement an executive program related to educational relations, and forming a joint working group to exchange experiences with regard to virtual education, adult education, and education for persons with disabilities, in addition to developing educational technologies and renovating schools.

Minister Al-Mardini stressed the importance of joint work to improve educational relations and activate them through exchanging experiences and benefiting from them in developing the course of the educational process.

For his part, the Iranian ambassador praised the richness of the educational system in Syria and its role in building the country’s future. He stressed his country’s keenness to take all measures as to develop bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
