Minister of Education discusses with Pakistani Ambassador enhancing cooperation and developing relations

Damascus,(ST)- The Minister of Education in the caretaker government Mohammad Amer Al-Mardini discussed today with the Pakistani Ambassador to Damascus Shahid Akhtar means of  enhancing cooperation and exchanging expertise between the two countries in the field of developing the educational process.

During the meeting, which was held at the ministry building in Damascus, Al-Mardini pointed out that the ministry is working according to a strategic plan aimed at developing educational work, especially in the field of vocational education, in addition to focusing on developing skills and promoting educational and national values.

The minister also referred to the cooperation with the Pakistani School in Damascus in various fields.

For his part, the Pakistani Ambassador clarified the importance of cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Pakistan and developing relations in the field of information technology to establish a training center in this field in the city of Homs. He indicated the need to work on enhancing human and educational values ​​from the early childhood stage.
