Minister of Awqaf discusses with Mufti of Beqaa enhancing relations between Syria and Lebanon

The Minister of Awqaf, Dr. Muhammad Abu Al-Khayr Shukri, discussed with the Mufti of the Beqaa region in Lebanon, Dr. Wafiq Hijazi, and his accompanying delegation ways to enhance religious relations between Syria and Lebanon.

During the meeting, which took place at the Ministry’s building, both sides emphasized the importance of the Syrian religious institutes from which large numbers of Lebanese youth have graduated -youth known for their awareness, moderation, and concern for the issues of the Islamic nation.
