Minister of Agriculture discusses with the representative of the Aga Khan Development Network projects proposed for investment
Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Muhammad Hassan Qatana on Thursday discussed with the resident representative of the Aga Khan Development Network in Syria Ghadfan Ajoub the projects proposed for investment, which contribute to achieving development in the targeted rural areas.
The two sides discussed the projects implemented by the network in Syria and the stages that have been accomplished.
Qatana stressed the importance of focusing on projects that achieve sustainability and contribute to improving the income of rural families and achieving stability for them in their villages, pointing out that the Ministry has proposed many large agricultural projects in accordance with Investment Law No. 18 with all the necessary facilities for its implementation.
For his part, Ajoub reviewed the organization’s work priorities in Syria, the implemented projects, and the future plan for new projects.
