Minister Mansour Azzam offers President Al-Assad’s condolences on martyrdom of Syrian freedom fighter Midhat Saleh

Delegated by President Bashar Al-Assad, Minister of Presidential Affairs Mansour Azzam on Monday offered condolences on the martyrdom of the Syrian freedom fighter Midhat Al-Saleh, who was assassinated by the Israeli enemy on Saturday.

Earlier this day, the body of martyr Midhat Al-Saleh was escorted to his final resting place in the city of Jaramana in Damascus countryside.

The martyr’s body was transferred from Mamdouh Abaza Hospital in Quneitra province.

Speeches during the funeral ceremony hailed the struggle and the resisting stances of Martyr Al-Saleh against the Israeli occupation’s inhuman and illegal practices.

They stressed that despite the occupation’s threats and pressure, Al-Saleh insisted on resisting the occupation’s attempt to obliterate the identity of the Syrian Arab Golan.

Speeches also affirmed that the assassination of Al-Saleh confirms the criminal and terrorist policy of the Israeli enemy, reiterating that such crimes won’t weaken the Syrians’ determination to liberate the Golan from the Israeli occupiers.
