Minister Haidar: Reconciliation in Qudsaiya Nears Completion

DAMASCUS COUNTRYSIDE- Minister of State for National Reconciliation Affairs  Ali Haidar said that the finishing touches for achieving a real reconciliation in Qudsiya city in Damascus Countryside are being put to make it a center for local reconciliations in the area, SANA reported.

During a meeting with a number of Qudsiya locals and the reconciliation committees, Haidar said that the Ministry has come a long way in the reconciliation project in Qudsiya, noting that the small remaining problems will be dealt with very soon.

 Minister Haidar stressed the government’s keenness on completing the reconciliation in Qudsiya, vowing that the reconciliation project will continue despite the attempts by some parties to thwart it.

Haidar visited checkpoints in Qudsiya and listened to views and suggestions of a number of locals in the city to complete the reconciliation project and ensure achieving it.

For his part, Majdeddin al-Salhani, one of the figures in Qudsiya, said that the gunmen asked the committees to mediate with the parties concerned to settle their status, noting that they are ready for any solution within the framework of reconciliation.
