DAMASCUS, (ST)_ Delegated by president Bashat Al-Assad, Minister of Presidential Affairs Mansour Azzam offered on Thursday condolences on the passing away of Luke Khoury, archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate.
The Minister conveyed President Al-Assad’s condolence to Patriarch Aphrem Ma’alouli and to the family of late Khoury, noting that archbishop Khoury has left a great inheritance of noble acts and patriotic stances.
Patriarch Aphrem Ma’alouli and family of Khoury, for their part, thanked President Al-Assad for this gesture.
