Minister Al-Sheibani: We welcome the stance of all participating nations in standing with Syria as it faces current challenges

Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Sheibani participated today in  the Syria and Neighboring Countries meeting held in Jordan, which brought together delegations from Jordan, Turkey, Lebanon, and Iraq.

During a press conference Al- Sheibani said “I thank Jordan and all the participating delegations, whose presence clearly reflects their commitment to cooperation and coordination in addressing common challenges and strengthening security in the region.”
“I appreciate the support of neighboring countries for the Syrian people over the past years and their hospitality toward Syrians despite immense challenges. This will leave lasting social and moral bonds between Syria and the host countries.” He expressed.
Al- Sheibani pointed out “We welcome the stance of all participating nations in standing with Syria as it faces current challenges, their respect for Syria’s unity and territorial integrity, their shared rejection of Israeli threats, and their support for lifting the unjust sanctions on the Syrian people.”
“We emphasize the importance of strengthening joint investment and economic cooperation between Syria and neighboring countries in vital sectors.” He stressed
“We are ready to continue with the positive spirit that prevailed in our meeting today and will guide our future meetings, building on our achievements and enhancing joint efforts for a better future for our region and the world.” Al-Sheibani said.
