Minister Al-Shaar to Syrian Businessmen in Egypt: “All supportive Measures Will Be Taken to Facilitate your Return to Syria”

Minister of Economy and Industry, Mohammad Nidal Al-Shaar met on Wednesday with a delegation of expatriate Syrian businessmen in Egypt, headed by industrialist Mohammad Sabbagh Sharabati. During the meeting, held at the Ministry’s headquarters, they discussed ways to facilitate the return of Syrian businessmen and their investments to Syria, as well as the obstacles hindering this process. Al-Shaar emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to creating an encouraging investment environment, addressing all challenges, and taking all necessary measures to ease the return of expatriate Syrian businessmen, in a way they can contribute to building a new and free Syria. For his part, Sharabati said that following Syria’s liberation from the former regime and the establishment of a new administration that believes in a genuine partnership between the public and private sectors built on solid foundations and sincere intentions, it has become a duty for expatriate businessmen to return to their country and actively participate in building a prosperous Syrian economy through their investments.
