Minister Al-Khalil urges the Syrians wherever they are to participate in supporting the recovery of their country’s economy

Cairo, (ST) – The Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Muhammad Samer Al-Khalil discussed with a delegation of Syrian businessmen in Egypt ways to continue their business in their home country. He stressed the need for the Syrians to participate wherever they are in supporting the recovery of their country’s economy.

The meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Syrian Embassy in Cairo, came on the sidelines of Al-Khalil’s participation in the meetings of the Economic and Social Council of the League of Arab States.

During the meeting, the delegation was briefed on developments in the economic situation in Syria, the decisions that have been made, and the circumstances for making any economic decision.

Al-Khalil praised the successes achieved by the Syrians in Egypt. He stressed the importance of these successes, along with the necessity of working to restore and rebuild their facilities in Syria, which were damaged by terrorism, and to establish new facilities in their home country on an integrated basis that includes their work wherever they are.

The meeting also dealt the problems and obstacles that limited the possibility of continuing the Syrian expatriates’ work in Syria, and presented the reasons related to them.
