Millions participated in the funeral of Martyr Soleimani in Ahvaz

On January 5, millions of Iranians are participating in the funeral of the commander of the Quds Force in the Revolutionary Guards, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, and the deputy head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units , Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, and their comrades in the city of Ahvaz, in the Khuzestan province, southwestern Iran.

The crowds went out in the city of Ahvaz, shouting slogans denouncing the United States and its crime, expressing sorrow, at the martyrdom of Soleimani, Al-Muhandis, and their companions.

 

After the funeral ceremonies in the city of Ahwaz, the bodies of the martyrs are to be transferred to the cities of Mashhad, Tehran, Qom and Kerma.

Hundreds of thousands of Iraqis participated in the funerals of Soleimani, Al-Muhandisand their companions that took place in Baghdad, Karbala, and Najaf on January 4.
