Millions of Iranians bid farewell to martyr Suleimai in Karman
Millions of Iranians will participate today in the funeral of major general Qassem Suleimani, the commander of al-Quds Brigade in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in his birthplace Karman South East of Iran. The bodies of martyrs Suleimani and his companion Brigadier Bor Ja’afari were received by massive crowds at Karman airport.
Earlier, Scores of thousands bade farewell to Suleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandess in the cities of al-Kathemia, Karbala and al-Najaf in Iraq last Saturday.
Funeral ceremonies were also held in Ahwaz south west of Iran and then in the cities of Mashhad and Qum before arriving in Tehran where the leader of the Iranian Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei performed funeral prayers for the rest of the martyrs’ souls.
From Tehran, the bodies of the martyrs Suleimani and Borja’afari were transferred to Karman .
