Military Source: Syrian Air Defenses Confront Israeli Enemy Missile Aggression

QUNEITRA, (ST)- Syrian army air defenses have confronted an Israeli enemy missile aggression against the Syrian territories, a military source said on Wednesday

 SANA reporter said earlier that several shells were fired from the occupied territories against al-Baath housing city in Qunietra. No casualties were reported.

According to a military source cited by SANA, the Syrian Air Defence downed the attacking Israeli missiles in tens.

Israeli media means pointed out that Israeli occupation authorities called on the Israelis in the occupied Syrian Golan to seek shelter in underground shelters.

Later, the reporter added that the Israeli warplanes fired several rockets from inside the occupied territories against the Syrian lands. The Syrian air defenses intercepted them and downed them all.

Reuters cited the Israeli occupation army as saying that its positions in occupied Syrian Golan were exposed to rocket shelling from inside Syria.

Israeli media outlets indicated that the occupation authorities asked settlers in occupied Syrian Golan to enter the shelters.
