Military Source: Reports of some websites and media outlets about clashes between Russian and Iranian troops in Syria are untrue

Damascus – A military source announced that it is categorically untrue what has been broadcast by a number of websites and written media outlets about clashes that erupted between Russian and Iranian troops in Deir Ezzor and Aleppo, SANA reported.

“General Command of the army and armed forces categorically refutes those reports circulated on the websites and newspapers and it asserts that the news are baseless and untrue,” the source said.

The army command called upon different mass media to seek accuracy and be responsible for broadcasting news and not to adopt any field military news unless it is issued by a military source,” the source added.
