Military operations against Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Damascus Countryside continued

Quneitra – Army units continued operations against gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the southwestern countryside of Damascus, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

SANA said that army units on Sunday carried out intensive operations against gatherings and fortified positions of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Daher al-Aswad hills to the south of Bard’ayia hills after 24 hours of establishing control over Bard’ayia hills by the army.

SANA added that violent clashes took place between army units and the terrorist groups which started to retreat after a short time of the clashes while army units continued to advance.

Terrorists started to flee away towards Mugher al-Mir to the east of Daher al-Aswad hills, leaving behind the bodies of the killed terrorists and their weapons, according to SANA.
