Mikdad: Zionist entity hinders peacemaking efforts

Mikdadmade it clear that  Israel is the main beneficiary of aggravating tensions and hindering the peaceful solution through Geneva Conference.

Mikdadhighly evaluated the current coordination between Damascus, Tehran and Moscow. “coming to  Moscow is but an evidence of joint coordination between Syria, the Islamic Republic of Iran and our friends in the Russian Federation, “stressed Mikdad.

For his part, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister said, “some countries continued to provide support and supply weapons to “extremist forces and terrorists “in Syria.

The Iranian diplomat called for an immediate halt to arms flows coming to Syria as the necessary condition for the Geneva 2 conference on a peaceful solution to the crisis in Syria.

It is to be noted that the Syrian delegation, while in Moscow, met with deputies of the Russian Foreign Minister, Mikhail Bogdanov, Gennady Gatilov and Sergey Ryabkov and discussed issues related to coordination and cooperation between the two sides on various levels.
