Mikdad voices Syria’s continuous support for Algeria to surpass current crisis

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faysal al-Mikdad has stressed that Syria will continue to support Algeria until it surpasses the difficult conditions it has been passing through and until the Algerian people achieve their aspirations.

Al-Mikdad made the remarks during a ceremony held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates to bid farewell to the Algerian Ambassador to Syria Saleh Bosha marking the end of his mission in the country.

 The deputy minister underlined the deeply-rooted ties between Syria and Algeria, noting wider cooperation to enhance joint action.

 Bosha was awarded the Syrian order of merit of excellent degree in appreciation for his efforts in boosting the brotherly relations between Syria and Algeria.

He thanked President Bashar al-Assad and the Syrian people for the generous gesture.

The ambassador hailed Syria-Algeria cooperation in all fileds.
