Mikdad receives PLO delegation

DAMASCUS, (ST)- “Syria will continue to defend the Palestinian people’s rights until liberating their land and establishing their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital, “underscored Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad.

Mikdad’s remark was made  during a meeting he held on Sunday with a delegation of the Palestine Liberation Organization Executive Committee (PLO) headed by the Committee’s member Zakariya al-Agha.

“being the central cause of the Arab nation , Syria is keen on the Palestinian cause. The targeting of Palestinian camps in Syria by the terrorists is a  clear  evidence of the deep coordination between Israel and the terrorists within the war waged against the country,” affirmed Mikdad.

Al-Agha ,for his part, highlighted  the Palestinian leadership’s keenness on Syria’s territorial integrity and security.

“a peaceful solution to the crisis in Syria is the only solution,”asserted al-Agha.
