Makhoul told Syria times that “the exhibition’s works are a combination of symbolic expressive conditions in a  contemporary modern life.

“The paintings reflect different schools including abstraction, realism and classicism”, he added

Makhoul believes that the human being is the major issue, so he portrays  him in all his paintings, influenced by some of the art of the eastern icon, to give him sanctity in the midst of warm colors because they reflect love, light and humanity.

“The art belongs to an intellectual and philosophical style whose paintings create a harmonious dialogue to reach the recipient and be able to understand the artwork and its message in the call to protect our memory, which represents our identity and the future of our homeland” he added.

Makhoul continued by saying that, the art is a world in which the real mixes with the imaginary, analogy and abstract representation together and the freedom of the one who frees himself from the preconceived idea or the preconceived subject of the painting.
