Members of the People’s Assembly: External misinformation campaigns are not able to dissuade the Syrian people from adhering to their independent decision

On June 2nd, the People’s Assembly held its seventh session of the third regular session of the third legislative session, headed by Hammouda Sabbagh, Speaker of the Assembly.

MP’s continued their interventions regarding the presidential elections as a number of them saw that Syria won through the completion of the presidential elections because it has a right, a cause and a civilization that spans thousands of years.

Some members pointed out that the foreign media campaigns and misinformation could not dissuade the Syrian people from their path and goal.

A number of members stressed the necessity of redoubling work and solidarity in the post-election stage and denounced the criminal practices of the US-backed SDF militias.

In another context, a number of members called for increased government interest in financing, fertilizer and fuels for farmers so that they can secure the marketing and production of agricultural crops.
