Meeting Pedersen, Susan stresses the need to raise the voice loudly about the violations of the Turkish and American occupation forces against the Syrian people
Nur-Sultan (ST): The delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic, headed by Dr. Ayman Susan, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, held a meeting with the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General to Syria Geir Pedersen within the framework of the sixteenth meeting of the Astana formula on Syria, which began in the Kazakh capital, Nur-Sultan, earlier today.
During the meeting, the developments of the situation in Syria were reviewed, where Dr. Susan stressed the need to raise the voice over the violations of the Turkish and American occupation forces against the Syrian people, whether with regard to supporting terrorists and groups associated with them or stealing resources and natural wealth and the capabilities of the Syrian people, because these violations are in addition to unilateral coercive measures are the main reason for the suffering of the Syrian people and the difficult conditions they live in.
The political process was also touched upon, with Susan affirming that the Syrian government would continue to deal positively with this process, while Pedersen indicated his intention to continue efforts to prepare for holding the sixth round of the Constitutional Discussion Committee’s meetings in Geneva.
