Medvedev: Western policies in Ukraine are pushing towards a Third World War

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, warned that Russia would consider British trainers and German factories as legitimate targets if Berlin and London continued to fuel the conflict in Ukraine.

Commenting on the call of the head of the Defense Committee in the German Parliament, Marie-Agnes Zimmermann, to supply Kiev with Taurus missiles, Medvedev said: “They say that this is consistent with international law, meaning in this case the attacks on the German factories where these missiles are manufactured will be completely consistent with international law also.”

Regarding British Defense Minister Grant Ships’ proposal to transfer military training to Ukrainian territory, Medvedev added: “This means making their trainers a legitimate target for our forces with the understanding that they will be eliminated without any mercy, not as mercenaries but as British experts affiliated with NATO.”

Medvedev concluded by saying: “These idiots are pushing us forcefully towards a third world war.”
