Deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev considered that one of the reasons for the United States opening a new front in Yemen is its desire to divert attention from the problems facing the Ukrainian regime.
“Last night, the Americans opened a new front in Yemen, which diverted attention from the problems of their followers in Kiev,” Medvedev said in a statement today quoted by the Novosti news agency.
The Yemeni capital, Sana’a, and several other provinces were subjected to a series of airstrikes by the United States and Britain at dawn today.
