Medvedev: Providing Kiev regime with weapons hinders the solution of the Ukrainian crisis

Moscow (ST): Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev confirmed that the West’s continued supply of weapons to the Kiev regime impedes a solution to the Ukrainian crisis, warning that exposing Russia to danger means that the fate of the world will not be decided in Ukraine, but rather outside its borders.

Medvedev said in an article published by Izvestia newspaper today: “If the issue of Russia’s existence arises, then the solution to this issue will not take place on the Ukrainian front, but rather in parallel with the fate of the civilization of our entire world.”

He pointed out that Russia’s enemies continue to supply weapons to the neo-fascist regime in Kiev, which thwarts any possibility of resuming negotiations, and they refuse to realize that the goals they set are inevitably doomed to failure.

Medvedev added that the West is still feeding on a dangerous illusion that it dismantled the Soviet Union without a single shot and that it is able to make Russia collapse without paying the price for that.
